Dawn Maycock, PhD is an environmental toxicologist with 20 years of business and financial expertise in industry, and is Finance Director at wca environment. Dawn has a PhD in ecotoxicology with an emphasis on sediment interactions and in situ toxicity testing.
Her particular expertise is in developing Environmental Quality Standards (EQSs) for freshwaters, marine waters, sediments and soils and she has recently developed draft EQSs for Annex VIII of the Water Framework Directive. Dawn has also been involved in the preparation of several Environmental Risk Assessments and in the production of substance-specific briefing notes for the water industry.
