The Italian training on Biotic Ligand Models (BLMs) and Bioavailability of Metals’ was held on 24th June 2016 at the Italian Institute of Water Research (CNR-IRSA) near Milan in Italy. The training day provided a brief insight into the development and use of BLMs, currently available user-friendly tools, data requirements, implementation of bioavailable EQSs under the WFD, and a short exercise with M-BAT using European freshwater data.
The training material from the workshop can downloaded here:
- the Italian version of the user-friendly tool M-BAT,
- an explanatory document on the user friendly tool M-BAT,
- the slides from the training session - an introduction to bioavailability, bioavailability of metals and the training exercise.
Furthermore, the Technical Guidance Document of Metals’ Bioavailability is also available as supporting material.
Thanks to all participants for their good and fruitful interaction!
