Mark Cronin is Professor of Predictive Toxicology at Liverpool John Moores University. He has over 20 years expertise in the development of in silico models for predicting toxicity and fate with an emphasis on environmental and human health exposure. The research includes assigning compounds according to mechanisms of action to support the development of (quantitative) structure-activity relationships ((Q)SARs). Recently he has been involved in approaches to group chemicals together forming categories to allow for read-across. He has been a member of many EU and UK consortia that have developed integrated testing strategies and guidance and case studies for REACH. Mark Cronin has published over 170 papers and co-edited three books.
