About EU ecolabelling

Consumers are becoming more and more aware of the impacts that the products and services they choose have on the environment. Equally, many manufacturers and service providers are minimising the environmental effects of their products and services and are looking for a clear way to demonstrate to consumers which products are kindest to the environment. The EU ecolabel is based on strict environmental criteria. Products that are awarded the ecolabel show the distinctive flower logo, providing a standard that consumers can trust.

The EU ecolabel is a voluntary scheme set up in 1992. It covers a wide range of product groups from tourist accommodation to cleaning products. Ecolabelled products can be marketed across the EU and EEA countries.

We have helped clients with their ecolabel applications, including the preparation of dossiers of supporting information.
