wca have further enhanced their capabilities in the risk assessment of contaminated land and waste recycling with the recruitment of Ed Stutt (previously with SLR Consulting) and Paul Whitehead (previously with Castrol Industrial Lubricants).
Ed is an Environmental Chemist and Human Health Risk Assessor who has worked on many aspects of the Environment Agency’s technical guidance for contaminated land, including the production of TOX and SGV Reports and the development of SSVs for Ecological Risk Assessment. He has successfully worked with several Local Authorities on Part 2A projects and assisted commercial clients in the re- development of brownfield sites.
Paul is a highly experienced American Board Certified Toxicologist who recently chaired the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Toxicology Group workshop “Can Toxicologists Further Define Unacceptable Intake for Contaminated Land”. Paul has considerable experience in chemical hazard/risk assessments, and risk management processes in the lubricant and speciality chemical industries.
